2023 -
In this ongoing series, I document the overlooked artifacts of daily life. Discarded wrappers, crushed cans, lost gloves, you name it - left behind on sidewalks, curbs, and alleyways during my walks through the city. Each item remains where it is found: unaltered, unmoved, and quietly persistent. These objects tell stories of everyday existence and neglect. They are fragments of human presence, both deliberate and accidental, that accumulate and endure, even as we pass by without notice. By framing trash as a subject, Iām not only observing waste, but also tracing the marks of our movements, habits and abandonments in real time. The city, in its own quiet way, holds onto all of it. And it never forgets.
This project is a mix of digital and 35mm color film.
